Anche io mi ricordavo i filmati di mom molto bene, finché non li ho rivisti 💀
Di mom ho sempre apprezzato l'open world e il modo in cui è tutto interconnesso.
Certo, non sarà interconnesso come quello di dark souls, anzi molti collegamenti non tornano per niente, tipo il percorso iniziale verso l'alto che ad una certa risbuchi fuori dalla cascata vicino la casa di crash. Però già il fatto che il percorso si divide in due dalla casa di crash per poi ricollegarsi più avanti, oppure nel regno del ghiaccio che c'erano varie deviazioni, già lo rende più interessante... Un livello di esplorazione che non c'è mai stato.
Poi anche la cosa che ad una certa si sbloccavano aree extra dove eri già stato per trovare i titani eroe, molto simile in effetti alle 4 anime dei lord di dark souls
Anzi molto probabile che l'ispirazione è stata proprio presa da mind over mutant

Uka Uka = Gwynevere
Quando trovi uka uka ti dice di andare a prendere 4 oggetti chiave in aree appena aperte
Inoltre ti si sblocca l'abilità di teletrasportarsi tramite apposite piattaforme (falò)
Grimly eroe (nito)
Rattoghiaccio (seath)
Tecnoriccio (4 re, l'arena piena di tecnoricci)
Cecchino (culla del caos, l'arena piena di buchi)
Una volta fatto, si aprirà la porta per l'area finale, dove troveremo cortex (gwyn). -

Snipe weaved great energy attacks
Grimly unleashed a miasma of time compression
And Ratcicle betrayed Wumpa Island...
and the Bandicoots were no more.
Thus began the Age of Titans.
But soon Evolvo Ray will fade, and only Wumpas will remain. Even now there are only a handful, and Cortex sees not light, but only endless nights.
And amongst the survivors are seen, carriers of the accursed Mojo energy.. -
